Welcome, my name is Associate Professor Raymond Ko

I am a Urologist and Surgeon with a special interest in treating all kidney stones.

I started the Kidney Stone Clinic in 2009 after completing general Urology Specialist qualifications in Australia, and completing another 2 years of intensive Post-Fellowship training in Canada in the treatment of complex kidney stones.

I have undertaken over six thousand stone related procedures in Australia.

Our aim is to provide an efficient, integrated approach for the care of our patients using the most up-to-date evidence and techniques.

We offer Telehealth consultations for patients who cannot make it to our office.

If your condition requires more urgent treatment, please ask your GP to contact us directly or inform our staff when you call our office.

We also have medical imaging facilities, which means that any scans required can be carried out during your consultation and the results will be immediately available.

We can also carry out blood and urine tests on site, to evaluate any metabolic causes for kidney stones, and offer you advice on stone prevention strategies.

Should you require surgery to treat your kidney stone, this will carried out in the same facility using state of the art equipment from our co-located hospital.
